Head of Experience Design
Peter leads Experience Design at Proto. He has spent his career working with the world's most influential companies to create pioneering new businesses, brands, practices, products, and services, from opportunity identification through prototyping and piloting to product/market fit and scale. His clients have included Intel, Spotify, Google, JPMorgan Chase, Walmart, E.ON, PwC, Samsung, and more. Corporate ventures that he has led now serve hundreds of millions of customers across a broad range of verticals, including energy, retail, healthcare, and
financial services.
Prior to joining Proto, he held several senior leadership positions at R/GA, most recently Head of Strategy and Executive Director, Innovation Consulting. He was an early member of R/GA's Innovation Consulting practice and was later responsible for establishing and leading the practice in London and Berlin. He was instrumental in growing and shaping the company’s CX & Product Strategy disciplines.
Born and raised in New England, he has spent 1/5 of his life outside of the US, including extended chapters in France, India, Argentina, UK, and Denmark. Before beginning his career in strategy and design, he built legal cases for asylum seekers as a paralegal at a San Francisco law firm, and contributed primary research to a published monograph on the world’s last Shaker community. He is passionate about wooden fishing boats, pottery, and saunas.
